We just had another amazing weekend away at Stubbers Adventure Centre with our partner youth organisations Count me in Project and Somers Town Youth Centre. This partnership has been ongoing since 2016, we’ve worked with many young people over this time and managing to take a core group with 30 young males and female away from the inner city and take part in activities including leap of faith, canoeing, archery, rifle shooting and more, it was amazing!
This partnership began as we wanted to build up relationships with other young people from different parts of Camden, which from doing so, has helped break barriers and for young people to have access to other services across Camden.
Thankyou to all the young people who came along, who behaved wonderfully (except for the non sleepers) but even so they all were amazing!
We can’t wait to start planning all the future activities and trips away!
Would like to say a special thank you to the wonderful staff from across all three organisations, it was a pleasure to spend the weekend with you and work alongside such a great team.
This particular partnership meets every Thursday at Somers Town Youth Centre, young people meet us at NW5 at 5:30pm, where we travel to Somers Town with staff and then leave at 8:00pm arriving back for 8:30pm.
